FFXIV Conjurer Guide

The Conjurer is another one of the Disciples of Magic classes. It is primarily designed to play a support / healing and closely resembles the Elementalist class found in other MMOs. Conjurers are masters of the elements (specifically earth, wind, and water). Their main tools of destruction are staffs and wands.

Conjurers have been noted by many players as being the ultimate healer class in FFXIV: A Realm Reborn due to its skills and traits being tailored to the role (which we discuss further below).

If you want to be a Conjurer you can either select the class as your starting role in the game or, once your character is level 10 or higher, you can visit the Conjurers Guild named Stillglade Fane which is found in Old Gridania.

NOTES: The most important stat for Conjurers is Mind (MND) which contributes to their overall healing abilities. Players using this class can choose to become a White Mage (one of the games jobs) once they are level 30 in Conjurer and level 15 in Arcanist.

Conjurer Skills

The majority of the Conjurers skills are designed to help yourself or other members in your party. A lot of the skills provide healing, remove debuffs, and other helpful actions. This is one of the main reasons why the Conjurer makes for such a great support or healer build.

Here is the complete list of skills for the class:

  • Stone
  • Cure
  • Aero
  • Cleric Stance
  • Protect
  • Medica
  • Raise
  • Fluid Aura
  • Esuna
  • Stone II
  • Repose
  • Cure II
  • Stoneskin
  • Shroud of Saints
  • Cure III
  • Aero II
  • Medica II
  • Stoneskin II

Conjurer Traits

Just like all other classes the traits are just passive skills that are available for your character once you reach level 8 or higher. Most of the traits available to the Conjurer are for increasing your Mind stat but a few do provide other benefits.

Here is the full traits list for this class:

  • Enhanced Mind
  • Enhanced Mind II
  • Proshell
  • Maim and Mend
  • Enhanced Mind III
  • Enhanced Raise
  • Freecure
  • Graniteskin
  • Maim and Mend II
  • Enhanced Shroud of Saints

Race & Craft Recommendations

In order to make the best of the Conjurer you’ll want to choose a race and crafting profession that compliment the class.

Due to the fact that Conjurers rely a lot on the mind stat you’ll want a race with the highest stat in it. In this case that would be the Keepers of the Moon clan of the Miqo’te which will give you a MND score of 23 to start off with.

For crafting you’ll probably want to go with Carpenter, Weaver, or Alchemist. All of these crafts provide you with stuff you’ll want and/or need. Through Carpentry you’ll be able to make staffs and wands for your Conjurer. With Weaving you’ll be able to craft armor you’ll need. And with Alchemy you can create very useful potions, elixirs, and other consumables that provide buffs.

Conjurer Quests

Once you take up the Conjurer class you’ll start working your way through a variety of different quests starting at level 1 and going all the way through level 30. These quests are designed to help you learn the class better, earn more skills, and so on. As you complete them you’ll gain experience for your Conjurer, gil, and items.

Here is the full list of Conjurer quests:

  • Way of the Conjurer (level 1)
  • My First Cane (level 1)
  • Trial by Earth (level 5)
  • Trial by Wind (level 10)
  • Trial by Water (level 15)
  • Sylphies Trials (level 20)
  • Seer Folly (level 25)
  • In Natures Embrace (level 30)
  • Unicorn Power (level 30)

Most of the quests for the Conjurer are obtained from the NPC known as E-Sumi-Yan, the guildmaster found in the Conjurers Guild in Old Gridania. The only one that isnt is the mission called Way of the Conjurer which is given to your player by the guilds receptionist, Madelle.

NOTE: In the near future well be adding a few recommended Conjurer builds, skill rotations, and more to this page for players!
